Spravato is absent from Ukraine’s State Register of Medicines — esketamine is not an available route (a parliamentary research note treats it as foreign-approved only).

One of the most consequential ketamine stories in the world right now: racemic ketamine is registered (anesthetic; psychotropic under Cabinet Resolution 770/2000), and off-label psychiatric use is lawful via a 2017 Health Ministry order allowing facilities to adopt international evidence-based protocols — the basis on which ketamine-assisted therapy for war-related PTSD and depression runs at private clinics (Expio in Kyiv and Lviv) and at the state military rehabilitation center “Lisova Poliana”. The Times has described Ukraine as a world leader in ketamine therapy for PTSD.

No lawful route today — but in March 2025 the Health Ministry published a draft rescheduling to enable scientific research with psilocybin, MDMA and other psychedelics, with an MDMA-assisted-therapy pilot for veterans discussed; as of August 2026, it was not adopted.

Same March 2025 draft covers MDMA for research; therapist training linked to international programs is underway. Not an access route today.

Medical cannabis was legalized by the law adopted in December 2023, in force since 2024 — prescription-based, with research permitted.

A PTSD clinical study of ketamine-assisted therapy runs at the Center for Ketamine Therapy; war-driven research interest is high and growing. Participation is free; screening is strict; never pay for “trial access”.
