Dr. Amy Reichelt, PhD
Dr. Amy Reichelt is a neuroscientist and chartered psychologist (BPS) with over 15 years of experience translating cutting-edge brain science into clinically meaningful, human-centred care. She holds a Ph.D. in Behavioural Neuroscience from Cardiff University, has authored more than 70 scientific publications and delivered a TEDx talk regarding the impact of junk foods on the teenage brain. Amy is also currently completing a Master’s in Counselling Psychology.
Her work integrates neuroscience, psychotherapy, and nutrition-informed mental health strategies to support individuals navigating anxiety, trauma, perfectionism, stress-related conditions, and behaviour change. Drawing on evidence-based modalities including ACT, existentialism, CBT, somatic therapies, and relational frameworks, Amy brings a biologically grounded yet deeply compassionate lens to psychological care.
In parallel, Amy advises life-science and mental health companies as a consultant on clinical trial strategy and translational positioning with a particular passion for neuroscience and psychedelic-assisted therapies. She is widely recognized for her ability to bridge complex science with accessible education for clinicians, patients, and the public.
Amy is passionate about preventative mental health and empowering individuals with practical tools grounded in neuroplasticity, resilience science, and whole-person wellbeing.
